Who is David Rail

To introduce David Rail involves a complex and detailed history. David and his wife, Tara Oaks Rail, have been residents of Rexburg since 2009. Since moving here David and Tara have been involved together in many things including the Madison County Fair Committee, Madison Education Foundation, and Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce. They also started a number of businesses including a publishing company, website design company, and most recently they took their concession trailer and turned it into Redd’s Grill at Teton Lakes Golf Course.

David was born to David and Janet Rail in Glascow, Montana. David Jr. had a childhood that included international travel around most of western Europe, learning a second language at the age of 8, and attending a German school, British school and an International School.

David graduated from Provo High School in 1987 and almost immediately went on a church mission serving in the Germany, Hamburg mission that included West Berlin.

After his mission, he attended BYU in Provo and studied music.

At the age of 25 David started his first business in landscaping where he became expert in sprinkler design, installation and repair. He became a certified water conservation specialist, designing sprinkler systems that conserved water while keeping lawns and yards green.

David met his wife online in 2008. They were married that October in the Jordan River Temple and moved 10 months later to Rexburg, where they have been for the past 15 years. The best part of Rexburg is the people and the surrounding nature. Rexburg is growing and with that growth, Rexburg and Madison county need to keep the small town charm as it grows and becomes a light to the world.
